Kimbrer Computer Gains Honor in Computerworld's Top 100 Analysis

Every year, Computerworld Denmark takes the temperature of the Danish IT industry and finds the most successful IT businesses in Denmark by assessing the companies’ latest annual financial statements.

More than 400 companies have been included in the 2018 analysis, and this year, Kimbrer Computer has achieved first place in the main category 'Sales' and the subcategories 'Resellers' and 'Heavyweight'. The company is also featured as number 51 on the overall Top 100 list.

»This is a huge honor, and we are very proud of the result, which is primarily due to our highly skilled employees. As always, they have done a really good job. Actually, I think it's rather extraordinary that a relatively small IT company here in peripheral Denmark can achieve such a great ranking.«

Plans for continued growth

Since Morten Nøhr and Peter Tølbøll Hansen founded the company in 1995, Kimbrer Computer has grown rapidly and received numerous awards and recognition for its work. In 2016, the company earned its fifth Gazelle award, given annually to the fastest growing companies in Denmark. That same year, Kimbrer Computer was awarded the AAA Bronze-diploma for highest creditworthiness over the last 3 years based on Bisnode's system of creditworthiness.

Moreover, Kimbrer Computer has recently hired three new employees, allowing the company to further accelerate growth as well as expand its footprint across Europe. Focus will be on establishing a stronger presence in key markets such as Italy, France and Spain.

»We plan to grow further. That is why we have expanded our team with three new employees who have the skills and experience necessary to support our ambitions. This means that we can move more quickly into the markets that we want to grow in and hopefully consolidate our position as a trusted provider of new and quality refurbished hardware solutions.«
